Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR)
About the role
A Registered Nurse (RN) is needed in an Operating Room (OR) setting. The job type is either local or travel contract. The shift is days, 40 hours per week (5x8).
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the operating room.
- Assist surgeons and other healthcare providers during surgical procedures.
- Maintain sterile field and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of OR experience within the last 3 years.
- Current Illinois RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS - AHA or Red Cross) certification.
- Valid driver’s license.

Schedule
The shift is days, 40 hours per week (5x8).
Pay
The rate is comprised of a taxable hourly rate, including if applicable, nontaxable (housing and M&IE) stipends converted to an hourly rate based on a 36-hour work week, and may be eligible for overtime. The weekly rate ranges from $2,268.00 to $2,520.00.

Qualifications
Must have 2 years of OR experience during the past 3 years. Updated resume, Basic Life Support (BLS - AHA or Red Cross), current drivers license (DL), and an active Illinois RN license are required.
