The 17 Menino Operating rooms cater to our busy inpatient and emergent surgical needs across dozens of surgical specialties. Recent OR expansions mean the most updated and advanced surgical equipment including a dedicated hybrid room, Da Vinci Robotics room, and renovated team spaces. The Menino ORs offer a fast-passed, high-skill, collaborative work environment where you will work in all surgical service specialties with highly trained teammates.

Position Summary

The registered nurse adheres to the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing rules and regulations and is primarily responsible for professional performance and direct patient care. The role encompasses nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and coordination of care for patients and their families across the healthcare continuum.

Responsibilities

  • Nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and coordination of care for patients and their families
  • Adheres to Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing rules and regulations
  • Works in all surgical service specialties
  • Collaborates with highly trained teammates

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Current basic life support (BLS) certification

Qualifications

  • Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred)
  • Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years

Pay

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
