Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Position Overview: The RN Charge Nurse provides leadership and clinical expertise during their shift, coordinating staffing, supporting staff, and ensuring quality patient care. They assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, delegate tasks, and evaluate outcomes to optimize clinical and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Manage unit resources, supervise staff, mediate conflicts, and ensure compliance with policies and safety standards. They facilitate communication, promote professionalism, participate in quality improvement, and activate emergency protocols when necessary. Qualifications & Skills: Valid RN license, BLS certification, relevant clinical experience, mentoring skills, and a BSN (or working towards it). Essential skills include assessment, planning, collaboration, leadership, and communication. Physical & Other Requirements: Ability to see, hear, lift, and move patients and equipment; frequent standing, walking, and manual dexterity.
