About the Role

The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for managing a group of patients, utilizing the nursing process, technology, and resources to deliver quality care within the institution's philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Perform unit-specific duties and implement procedures related to the area of practice.
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care for team use.
• Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient and family needs.
• Implement and modify care plans, nursing interventions, and procedures based on ongoing evaluations.
• Ensure patient and staff safety by reporting hazards and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with team members, provide constructive feedback, and support colleagues' professional growth.
• Fulfill departmental competencies and prepare the OR suite, including supplies, equipment, and medications.
• Interview, transport, and position patients for procedures, support the surgical team, and provide handoff care post-procedure.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.
• High school diploma or GED; associate’s degree preferred.
