Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Position Overview Department: Surgery, ORWork Location: UAB St. Vincent's EastResponsibilities: Provide professional nursing care in the operative setting for surgical and invasive procedures. Perform scrub functions, handle instruments and supplies, and assist the surgical team. Conduct circulating duties, monitor and communicate patient conditions, and oversee overall nursing care before, during, and after procedures. Assist surgeons with tasks such as hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning. Prepare operating rooms and equipment.Qualifications & Skills: Licensed RN with Alabama Board of Nursing credential. BLS certification within 30 days of hire. OR experience preferred. Additional Info: Must have a professional nursing diploma or degree.
