Role Overview

This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room (OR).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients pre-surgery
• Provide education to patients and families
• Prepare patients including medication and site verification
• Participate in surgical protocols
• Recognize emergencies
• Deliver patient-centered care
• Assess and monitor patient conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN licensure
• Basic Life Support certification
• Minimum of one year perioperative experience
• ACLS and PALS certifications within six months
• BSN preferred
• CNOR preferred
