Registered Nurse - One on One Adult Home Care

About the role

Our BAYADA Delaware Adult Skilled Nursing Office is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for adult and/or geriatric care to join our Skilled Nursing Team. We provide high-quality, compassionate, and reliable care to our clients and their families.

What makes private duty nursing different than home health visits:

• Traditional shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours)
• Hands-on care with only one client per day
• Opportunity to build client relationships and witness their milestones

What your day looks like with BAYADA:

• Travel to one client home near you on a schedule you choose
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders
• Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations
• Feel empowered to perform skills with autonomy in the home

Onboarding and Training

We provide an excellent onboarding and training experience from Day 1. On your first day, you will:

• Meet the team and discuss your availability and possible schedules
• Meet with our clinical educator to schedule any necessary training
• Complete paid orientation, including training in the SIM lab, documentation training, fit testing, and ID badge setup
• Receive lunch and BAYADA swag

On your first day in the client home, you will orient with another BAYADA nurse to ensure comfort and fit.

Throughout the year, our office hosts several nurse appreciation events.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state

Pay

Up to $43/hour based on client care and shift.
