Role: Registered Nurse in Oncology Unit with night shifts, providing patient care in a hospital setting. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.Coordinate and implement individualized care plans ensuring safety, timeliness, and appropriateness of interventions.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues in person, via phone, and in writing.Provide tailored patient and family education based on thorough assessments.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications And Skills Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.Licensed to practice nursing in the state.Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
