Registered Nurse - Oncology Unit - Nights

Role: Registered Nurse in the Oncology Unit, working nights in a hospital setting. Responsibilities Assess patients and collect health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers.Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members in person, by phone, and in writing.Individualize patient and family education based on thorough assessments to meet learning needs.Participate in evaluating nursing practice quality and effectiveness through quality improvement initiatives.Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.Current Illinois nursing license.CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Skills: Effective communication, patient assessment, care coordination, and adherence to professional standards.
