Registered Nurse - Oncology Unit - Night Shift

Role: Registered Nurse in the Oncology Unit, working nights with a part-time schedule of 24 hours per week. Key Responsibilities Perform patient assessments and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers.Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, appropriate, and timely.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members in person, by phone, and in writing.Individualize patient and family education based on thorough assessments to meet specific needs.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications & Skills Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.Current nursing license in Illinois.CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
