About the role
The role involves part-time hours (24/week), night shifts, and every other weekend.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients, gather health data, and coordinate care plans ensuring safe, effective, and timely interventions.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team members in person, via phone, and in writing.
- Provide individualized patient and family education based on assessments.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
- Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Illinois nursing license.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
