Inpatient Registered Nurse providing comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostics
- Evaluate intervention effectiveness
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Troubleshoot equipment
- Participate in evidence-based practice decisions
- Contribute to quality and safety initiatives
- Manage diverse patient needs and promote safety
- Coordinate care and ensure positive patient and family experiences
- Engage in unit-based decision-making and safety programs
- Work in an acuity-adaptable environment, including collaboration with palliative care teams
Requirements
- Nursing degree with specialty training
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Willingness to participate in specialized training for oncology care, including chemotherapy and bone marrow transplant management
