Registered Nurse - Oncology - F/T Days

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing practices according to the most up-to-date evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care.
• Performs comprehensive data collection and age-specific assessment.
• Develops and coordinates a plan of care that reflects patient needs and addresses educational needs.
• Communicates and coordinates care with other members of the health care team.
• Administers medications using advanced technologies and ensures safety.
• Evaluates patient progress and initiates interventions as necessary.
• Responds to ethical issues and enhances patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required.
• BSN in progress or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Six or more months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, and demonstrate strong teamwork and patient focus.
• BLS/CPR certification by the American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.
