Registered Nurse (On Call)
About the role
MTC is proud to operate the North Central Correctional Complex where our staff are dedicated to improving lives and helping to reduce recidivism through education, healthcare, and other services. We are looking for a Registered Nurse PRN to join our clinical team.
Responsibilities
- Attend sick call which is held daily.
- Administer and record medications.
- Urgent care cases as needed.
- Confer with physician to refer inmates to the emergency room as required.
Requirements
- Degree in nursing and a current, valid nursing license for the state of Ohio.
- Possess current CPR certification.
- Work within Ohio State Board of Nursing Scope of Practice.
