About the role
Full-time Registered Nurse position in the Observation department at Prime Healthcare Olympia Field Hospital. Schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM).
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit.
- Directly responsible and accountable for the care of assigned patients.
- Communicate with physicians about changes in patient clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and/or response to treatment.
Requirements
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
- Ventilator Management experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $35.35 to $53.58 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors including skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
