About the Role
As a Professional Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
- Develop and update individualized care plans.
- Deliver and adapt nursing care as needed.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Provide patient and family education.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient progress.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and patients.
- Participate in policy review and respond to emergencies.
- Enforce safety protocols and uphold professional standards.
- Demonstrate sound judgment, adaptability, and commitment to patient-centered care.
- Participate in committees as required.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing School.
- Current NY State RN license.
- 1-2 years of inpatient mother-baby experience required.
- BLS certification required; ACLS and NRP certification within six months of hire.
