Registered Nurse - OB PRN

About the role
Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Directs and coordinates nursing care for patients based on nursing practice standards. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to provide quality, cost-effective, and efficient care and to achieve the best possible patient outcome. Serves as a resource person when the situation requires. Applies age-specific considerations and cultural diversity when rendering patient care. Supports Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation’s mission statement. Provides care for all patients from birth to elderly.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation

Requirements
- Completion of a nursing education program from an NLN-approved institution
- 1–2 years of recent OB (Obstetrics) experience preferred
- Active and unrestricted license as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Alaska
- Current certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and Fetal Monitoring
Pay
Minimum hourly pay: $48.57
Schedule
PRN (as needed) temporary position, up to 40 hours per week.
