Registered Nurse - Nursery (PRN)

About the role

Position Summary: Registered Nurse (PRN) will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in our Nursery. Working under the supervision of the Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager, the RN is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care while promoting safety, teamwork, and excellent clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a critical care setting
• Cook up care and appropriately delegate tasks to support staff
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Advocate for patients and families while maintaining the highest standards of care

Requirements

• Education and Experience: Clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred
• Minimum two years’ experience in labor and delivery preferred
• BSN preferred
• Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Current SC RN license, Current BLS and NRP certification required

Qualifications

• Current SC RN license
• Current BLS and NRP certification

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
