Registered Nurse (Non-Exempt)

About the Role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Coordinates care with other departments and evaluates the effectiveness of care delivered by team members, aligning with organizational standards and values.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Perform nursing duties in accordance with licensing and certification requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date certifications such as BLS, ACLS, or other unit-specific credentials.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld at all times.
• Support physical demands including lifting, standing, walking, and maneuvering as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license for the state or a compact license.
• Certifications such as BLS, with additional certifications based on department requirements.
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing.
