Summary Of Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness provided by team members. They coordinate patient care with other departments, uphold patient rights, and maintain confidentiality, aligning with organizational mission and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in emergency and medical-surgical units.
• Assess patient needs and develop care plans.
• Evaluate and oversee care provided by others.
• Cookordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
• Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and adhere to organizational standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN licensure in the state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, ENPC) may be required based on unit needs.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various movements.
