Registered Nurse - Nights
About the Role
The Registered Nurse – Med/Surg works in a collaborative environment at Nazareth Hospital to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse facilitates all aspects of the patient visit experience, assessing patients, developing, evaluating, and modifying care plans, and performing complex patient-care procedures specific to their expertise.
Patients served include all age groups (Infant through Older Adults). The RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the care given to a group of patients for a designated time frame, functioning as part of the Care Team and Support Team.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and develop, evaluate, and modify care plans.
- Interpret and perform complex patient-care procedures specific to expertise.
- Provide care via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, environment/technology, and collaboration with other healthcare team members.
- Function as part of a team to accomplish patient outcomes identified in the pathway/plan of care.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse license by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing or Compact State required.
- Prior relevant experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Certifications aligned with area of responsibility; Minimum of BLS required.

Schedule
Full Time Nights, 12-hour shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM).
