Registered Nurse - Nights

If nights are your preference, this role was built for you. Correctional Medical Management is hiring full-time Registered Nurses for the night shift at the Minnehaha County Jail. You will care for incarcerated patients — a population with complex, often untreated health histories — in a structured, team-oriented environment where your clinical skills are used every single shift.
SCHEDULE & PAY
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week
Hours: 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.
Pay: $41.00 - $45.00 per hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide direct nursing care to incarcerated patients
- Administer medications and obtain diagnostic tests
- Perform assessments and deliver health education
- Respond to medical emergencies
- Manage acute and chronic health conditions, adjusting care plans as needed
- Evaluate patient behaviors, symptoms, and responses to medications and treatments
- Assist with medical or minor surgical procedures
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, charts, and reports
- Build and sustain professional relationships with patients, staff, and the public

REQUIREMENTS
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in South Dakota
- Current CPR certification
- Must pass a pre-employment background check prior to receiving an offer
