Registered Nurse -NICU, Resource Pool, Shifts Vary

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) to provide and document professional nursing care to patients.
• Carefully coordinates and delegates care to other professionals and ancillary personnel.
• Communicates findings as necessary to appropriate individuals.
• Serves as a resource person for other SRH/nursing personnel to resolve work-related issues.
• Performs any other job-related duties as requested by Supervisor or Department Director.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
• One year nursing experience required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
• Obtains ACLS certification within 6 months of hire/transfer and PALS certification within 1 year of hire/transfer.
• Completes arrythmia course within 30 days of hire.
