About the role

Hallmark Youthcare Richmond Inc is a Residential Treatment Center treating adolescents with emotional issues triggered by trauma. Treatment is provided in a warm and friendly environment by a team of well-trained, highly motivated staff.

Responsibilities

• Use critical thinking skills to coordinate and provide safe, quality care to our residents utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and with sound documentation skills.
• Knowledge of medications, their proper dosage, effects and contraindications.
• Able to plan and organize assigned work.
• Able to interact appropriately with residents ages 11-17.
• Able to apply sound judgment with clinical skills to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia by the Department of Health Professions (please contact us directly if you are licensed in another state).
• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• 1+ years nursing experience, psychiatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Capable of communicating effectively verbally and with sound documentation skills.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Benefits

• $10,000 Sign on bonus

Pay

Up to $45.00 hourly (Including Shift Differentials)
