Responsibilities
- Affirms patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and review of medical records and clinical data.
- Develops and implements patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, observing outcomes in accordance with nursing standards.
- Demonstrates competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
- Advocates for and protects the health, safety, and rights of each patient.
- Provides patient and family education based on assessment of learning readiness, needs, and ability, and evaluates the effectiveness of teaching.
Requirements
- Associate's of Nursing degree [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing degree [Preferred]
- Registered Nurse (RN) license [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
Qualifications
- Verbal Interpersonal skills [Required]
- General nursing skills [Required]
- Demonstrates appropriate documentation skills [Required]
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty [Preferred]
- Educational background in electronic health record experience [Preferred]
Skills
- Knowledge of organizational structure and processes [Required]
