Registered Nurse - Neuroscience Med/Surg - Full-Time - Day

About the Role

Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient/family-centered care and adherence to safety, quality, and organizational policies. Demonstrates clinical competency through evidence-based nursing practices across assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborates with healthcare team members to develop, update, and communicate individualized care plans, including discharge planning and referrals.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive patient assessments and prioritizes care based on clinical data.
• Develops and updates personalized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and team members.
• Delivers direct patient care within the scope of practice, delegating tasks appropriately.
• Monitors care quality, evaluates patient responses, and revises plans as needed.
• Educates patients and families, addressing learning needs and promoting participation.
• Ensures documentation aligns with standards and serves as an advocate for patients.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and maintains professional licensure.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum of one year RN experience or equivalent through residency or LPN experience.
• Current RN license recognized in the practice state.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement.
