About the Role
Registered nurses (RNs) are responsible for providing safe, competent patient care, educating patients and their families about health conditions, and providing advice and emotional support to patients and their families.
This is a PRN (as-needed) position requiring availability to work at least 12 hours bi-weekly, based on departmental demands. You may be required to work additional hours if requested by your supervisor. Work hours may vary depending on the needs of the unit.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and competent nursing care to patients.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions.
- Offer advice and emotional support to patients and their families.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current South Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with the American Heart Association (AHA).
Pay
Hourly pay rate at Health-27 pay grade.
Schedule
- PRN (as-needed) position with a minimum of 12 scheduled weekly hours.
- Rotating work shifts.
