About the Role

A registered nurse responsible for providing independent, routine, and complex patient care within a specialized hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and provide patient and caregiver education.
• Delegate tasks to care team members to manage clinical situations effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in a related specialty preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• Required certifications include BLS and ACLS.
• Completion of onboarding, orientation, and annual competency requirements.
