About the role

The staff nurse delivers comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They operate within organizational policies and demonstrate professional growth and accountability. The nurse is responsible for maintaining practice standards and coordinating patient care activities of assigned staff to ensure quality nursing services.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Ensure adherence to standards and policies
• Coordinate and supervise assigned staff to deliver quality care

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program; new graduates eligible
• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
• BLS certification required
• Preferred: hospital experience, bachelor’s degree, advanced certifications, and one year of hospital nursing experience for PRN roles
