Registered Nurse - Neuro Med/Surg

Role Overview

As a registered nurse, you will provide professional nursing care to patients by applying the nursing process, collaborating with the healthcare team, and promoting evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient status through interviews, observations, and physical exams.
• Develop and modify individualized care plans with input from patients and families.
• Implement interventions to achieve patient outcomes and evaluate progress.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain safety and quality standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration, resource utilization, and priority setting.
• Educate patients and families using appropriate strategies considering cultural and developmental factors.
• Engage in performance improvement activities, data collection, and process enhancements.
• Promote team communication, safety, and customer satisfaction through effective teamwork.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active RN license in Illinois and BLS certification.
• College diploma in nursing.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate within a team.
