2W is a 13-bed unit specializing in providing critical care to a full range of neurology and neurosurgical patients. Some of the specific diagnoses and surgical cases include strokes, brain tumors, epilepsy, movement disorders, craniotomies, and spinal surgeries. As a comprehensive stroke center, the unit provides top-level care and unique services to give patients the best chance at recovery.
This is a full-time, 12-hour night shift position in a team-oriented unit that offers opportunities to manage a wide range of diagnoses and advance nursing skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional critical care to neurology and neurosurgical patients.

- Collaborate with a supportive, team-oriented unit focused on continuous learning and professional growth.
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing (BSN or ADN).
- BLS Provider certification (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire.
- Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous ICU RN experience.

Pay
- BSN Pay Range: $36.05 - $59.92 per hour.
- ADN Pay Range: $32.97 - $507.06 per hour.
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
