Registered Nurse - Neuro Clinic

We are hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for our Neurology Clinic at the Plaza. Missouri and Kansas RN licensure required.

About the Role

In a clinic setting, you will provide professional nursing care for patients following established standards and practices. This role involves telephone triage, patient flow coordination, and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Schedule emergent-need patient appointments.
• Identify learning needs for patients and families; provide advice, recommendations, and insert intravenous access with medication.
• Perform administration and duties as assigned based on clinic need.
• Delegate tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and scope of practice.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, interpretation, and documentation of patient care and testing.
• Enter admission orders as directed by the provider.
• Manage expired samples.
• Work collaboratively in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously.
• Maintain excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor at all times.
• Cover Medical Assistant, LPN, or other office duties as needed.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Missouri and Kansas.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
