About the role

The Registered Nurse at Vassar Brothers Medical Center provides direct patient care guided by the ANA scope of practice. They collaborate with patients, family/significant others, peers, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the patient's needs and plans care accordingly
• Implements and evaluates the medical and nursing regimens in accordance with hospital and nursing philosophy, policies/procedures, and standards
• Demonstrates leadership skills and commitment to professional accountability and growth

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• BSN preferred
• At least one year of hospital medical-surgical nursing experience
