About the role
Coordinate nursing program activities and resources within clinical specialty or department. Develop and oversee program, making recommendations and acting as a resource for all nursing staff related to patient care and clinical standards, policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Develop and document care plans and therapy programs.
- Oversee and ensure plan of care therapy program is implemented as indicated.
- Ensure necessary resources and/or equipment is obtained as ordered.
- May supervise and direct nursing staff.
- Coordinate, assemble, and maintain documentation as required.
Requirements
- BLS Provider – obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Clinical Registered Nurse – credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.
Qualifications
- 5+ years acute care registered nurse experience preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience with a Level 3 or 4 NICU required.
Pay
Full Time | Mon-Fri 8:00a - 5:00p
