Registered Nurse - Nampa Emergency Department

About the role

At Saint Alphonsus Health System, we are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to support our Emergency Departments in Nampa, Idaho. These positions are eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with physicians in treating patients, handling common cases such as fractures, fevers, allergic reactions, COPD, and respiratory illnesses.
• Support trauma cases that require a higher level of care by routing them to our Boise hospital.
• Utilize critical thinking and assessment skills to prioritize patient needs and provide exceptional care.
• Participate in cross-training between the Medical Center and the freestanding Emergency Department on 12th Avenue.

Requirements

• A current Idaho RN license.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required at hire.
• One or more years of RN experience in an emergency setting preferred.

Schedule

Primarily full-time, night shift positions are available, with the option for part-time and day shift opportunities if available. Colleagues self-schedule their hours in advance and are expected to work 2 weekends per month.
