Role Overview

A registered nurse providing independent and comprehensive nursing care in a clinical setting, demonstrating clinical competence, and managing patient contingencies.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation) to deliver patient care
• Administer medications and treatments following protocols
• Document patient information
• Educate patients and families about care needs
• Provide patient-centered care
• Monitor treatment effectiveness
• Assess learning needs

• Attend onboarding and complete annual competency validations
• Ensure compliance with certification requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• STABLE certification
• ACLS preferred
• Experience in perinatal care or neonatal settings preferred
