Registered Nurse - MICU - Weekends Only

Position Overview Provide direct nursing care in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.Implement, monitor, and communicate patient care plans effectively.Coordinate multidisciplinary efforts to ensure seamless patient care.Follow and execute physician and nursing orders accurately.Assess and coordinate discharge planning with healthcare team members. Requirements Valid nursing license from the Alabama Board of Nursing.Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or Red Cross.Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or Red Cross.Diploma from an accredited nursing school. Skills & Qualities Strong teamwork and communication skills.Ability to assess patient needs and coordinate appropriate care.Willingness to learn and collaborate, including with new graduates.
