Position Overview
Providing direct nursing care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit with 18 beds, focusing on team cohesion and comprehensive patient support.
Key Duties
- Deliver direct patient care aligned with organizational policies
- Coordinate multidisciplinary efforts for optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor patient conditions, document accurately, and communicate effectively
- Assist with discharge planning and patient education
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse with credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire, and Advanced Life Support within 6 months, from AHA or ARC
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program

- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow established policies, procedures, and protocols
- Enthusiasm for teaching and supporting new graduates
