Registered Nurse - MICU

Position Overview: This role involves providing direct nursing care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and assessing discharge needs. The unit features a team-oriented environment with strong leadership presence and welcomes new graduates. Key Responsibilities Deliver patient care according to established policies and protocols.Implement and communicate patient condition updates.Coordinate care with healthcare team members.Follow physician and nursing orders.Assist in discharge planning and patient education. Qualifications Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Alabama Board of Nursing.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
