Registered Nurse - MICU

About the role

As an RN in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), you will assess, plan, perform, document, and evaluate nursing care in a hospital setting, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment. You will provide oversight and work direction for unlicensed personnel, carry out medical orders, assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures, and communicate patient care information to patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for critically ill patients
• Interpret clinical data and respond appropriately
• Perform related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• RN licensure in Minnesota or Wisconsin
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least one year of critical care experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Higher nursing degree (e.g., BSN, MSN)
• Charge nurse experience
• Telemetry experience

Schedule

Day shifts with every third weekend rotation.
