About the role
The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all ages, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality patient care by coordinating activities of assigned staff, adhering to organizational policies, and maintaining professional standards.
- Demonstrates accountability and professional growth in practice.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- New graduates eligible
- Hospital experience preferred
- Current Georgia RN licensure or multistate license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Additional Certifications: May be required based on specialty, such as ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, or other certifications within specified timeframes
Skills
- Strong clinical assessment, coordination, and communication skills
- Ability to work within policies and demonstrate professional accountability
