Registered Nurse - MedSurg/Ortho, Days, Part-Time

About the role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all ages, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They ensure adherence to organizational policies and demonstrate professional growth and accountability. The nurse is responsible for maintaining care standards and coordinating patient care activities among assigned staff to deliver quality nursing services.

• Assess, plan, and deliver patient care based on nursing best practices
• Coordinate and supervise care activities of nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards of practice
• Maintain professional development and accountability in nursing practices

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of a nursing program; new graduates eligible
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state; BLS certification required
• Hospital nursing experience preferred; one year required for PRN roles
• Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced certifications in specialty areas are a plus
