About the role
The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. They work within organizational policies and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care activities and maintain standards of practice.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality nursing care by overseeing assigned staff.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program; new graduates are eligible.
- Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- BLS certification required.
- Advanced certification in a specialty is a plus; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Hospital experience is preferred.
