REGISTERED NURSE- MEDSURG- FT - DAY SHIFT

About the role

St. Mary’s is a 229‑bed acute care hospital in Enid, OK, serving northwest Oklahoma for over 100 years with more than 125 physicians specializing in cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, emergency medicine, rehabilitation, laboratory, women’s imaging, wound care, and other services. The RN fulfills multiple roles—caregiver, decision‑maker, client advocate, manager, rehabilitator, comforter, communicator, and teacher—using the nursing process to assess patient needs, initiate and implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes while promoting dignity and quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care assessment.
• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill.
• Integrates direct and indirect patient care activities related to the diagnosis and co‑morbidities.
• Coordinates the implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients.
• Develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet individual patient/family needs.
• Collaborates with the patient’s designated care partner to meet the educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of the patient.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Current RN licensure from the State of Oklahoma required.
• ADN required, BSN preferred.
• Current BLS required.
• ALS required and maintained biannually.
• Experience preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certified within 90 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills required.

Pay

Sign‑on bonus: $10,000.00 (eligible).
