About the role
Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by others. Coordinates patient care with various departments, upholds patient rights, and maintains confidentiality. Performs duties aligned with mission, values, and service standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Valid RN license within the state or compact licensure
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (or completed within 30 days of hire)
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull 50 pounds, and perform prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and twisting
- Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, PALS) may be required based on unit or role
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
- Evaluate care effectiveness and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Uphold patient rights and confidentiality
- Maintain professionalism in accordance with organizational standards
