Guided by our C.A.R.E.S. values—Compassion, Attitude, Respect, Excellence, and Service—this PRN Registered Nurse position allows you to provide direct nursing care under general supervision, in collaboration with patients, their families, and the healthcare team. You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and coordinate treatment plans while working as a team member within the entire facility.

Responsibilities

  • Provides care to post-surgical patients in Med-Surg/ICU according to policy, procedure, and care standards.
  • Maintains knowledge of medications, equipment, expected patient outcomes post-surgery/recovery, and anticipated complications.
  • Coordinates patient care with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Acts to protect and advance the patient’s best interest.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties outlined in this job description and continually shows competency in performing job duties.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse Licensure with the State of Oklahoma required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Med-Surg, Emergency, or ICU preferred.
  • BLS Healthcare certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS certification required within 120 days of hire.
