Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical - Travel - (MS RN)

Start date: as soon as possible. Available shifts: 12-hour nights.

About the role

Travel registered nurse position in a medical-surgical unit with 18 beds and a 1:6 patient ratio. Equipment used includes wound vacs, chest tubes, and BiPAPs. Electronic health record system: Meditech. Patient population: adult and geriatric (no pediatric patients unless over Broselow chart).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing joint replacements, colon resections, mastectomy, amputations, Nissan procedures, and general surgery.
• Perform IV and NG insertion.
• Utilize critical thinking and maintain open communication.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license (Compact accepted).
• Medical-surgical (MS) experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• SSN and date of birth required for compliance.

Pay

Pay rate: $1,791.00 - $1,882.00 per shift.
