About the role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standards of practice and ensure quality patient care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff.
• Follow organizational policies and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates are eligible; hospital experience preferred.
• Current RN license in the relevant state; BCLS certification.

Certifications & Specializations

• Additional certifications may be required based on specialty, such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, or chemotherapy/Biotherapy, with specific timeframes for completion.
• Pediatric, emergency, critical care, dialysis, surgical, and women’s services nurses may need specialized certifications.
