Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical, Night Shift

About the Role

A Registered Nurse responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with the care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient treatment plans. Acts as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure patient needs are met with compassion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient conditions and care interventions.
• Assist in developing and executing care plans, promoting positive outcomes and patient wellbeing.
• Prioritize patient flow and coordinate care to enhance patient experience.
• Advocate for patients, addressing concerns and providing health education.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and support organizational goals.
• Maintain professional competence, licenses, and certifications, and pursue ongoing development.
• Mentor and support fellow nurses, fostering a positive work environment.
• Adhere to safety, confidentiality, and professional standards, promoting shared governance.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
• Current BLS certification required at hire.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
