Registered Nurse/Medical Surgical - Neuro

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med Surg Neuro RN to join our dynamic team at a renowned acute care hospital in Coon Rapids, MN. This position involves working in a Medical Surgical, Neuro, and Trauma unit, with approximately 60-70% of patients being Neuro patients. You will also care for Trauma patients from the ICU after initial stabilization.

Schedule

• Shift Times: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730 (rotating 3x12s)
• Patient Ratios: Days - 1:4, Nights - 1:5
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-Call Requirement: None
• Floating Requirement: No floating within scope to meet facility needs
• Block Schedule: Not accommodated
• Request Time Off Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days
• Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time without penalty

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience with strong Medical Surgical and Neuro experience
• Certifications Required: BLS, NIHSS
• Pending License: Accepted
• Local Applicants: Not accepted within a 100-mile radius
